just played some kelli tunes on my bass ...
technical wise, pretty simple, but the magic is great, when playing to her CD ...
i really like to play KIDS, Inferno high love, Graffiti boy and Voyeur ... great songs with great bass lines ...
bass and me go meow the whole time!
makes me wanna swing my tail and my paws every time

girls usually play bass? hmmm never seen many girls playing bass or drums ... some play guitar. but most musicians i know are malecats ... well no cats, cause i am the only cute malebasscat, but they are male men

well i guess over here in the states with teenage bands and whatnot, the Donna’s. but they are all girls anyway, Melissa and Darcy of past smashing pumpkins….the girl who played bass with White Zombie…just to name a few….but it’
s no big deal, but yeah wish there were more girls who could rip it up yummy on guitar, there are some i am sure, but not famous i don’t think

i was fan of the donna¥s in the past ... some sweeties in there ... the drumme for example

oh man, speaking of i came across this band called OMEGA APES, with a female singer and they sound real good, nice crunching , grinding guitars, nice beats and she can scream well….bought it for $2, yeah, it’s an old group i think

anyone else tried to play some kelli songs with their instrument?

i actually have a good ear, i was in choir and stuff and played clarinet, so i am sure i could find the notes in her more guitar type songs, so i can really play by ear more than instruction kind of book, but i know the basic notes and chords

at least you could play the outro of “teardrop hittin¥the ground” which is the same on bass like on the guitar!

that’s cool…..yeah, would love to read more stuff about kelli and see more pics, i loved her biography, she is a good writer and i like how she thinks and puts her thoughts in words, yummmm…...hope they are chilling out good and i miss them…....
