Butterflies again. This time in the movie “Frida” starring Salma Hayek. She’s confined to a body cast after a traffic accident and she’s told she won’t walk again.
Later, after her boyfriend tells her he’s leaving her, she insists she’s going to walk again and begins to draw butterflies all over her cast. Symbol of freedom regained?
Interesting movie. Artfully done.
