Jed and Lucia in Chatsworth

Oh Fine days of music and splendor. We flew out to L.A. last week to come and stay with our sweet and beautiful friends, Jed and Lucia in the lovely red canyons of Chatsworth. From here we’ll be traveling to San Francisco and Nashville but for now we’re chilling with two of the most beautiful people in the world.
In their charming wooden house, we play music, drink wine, watch the sunset from the balcony and share stories and get to know each other better.
There is a magic here and a magic to Jed and Lucia and their music. Teen, a friend of theirs, has been singing with us and Andrew, another friend from New Orleans, has played some tabla.
I’m doing a lot of writing for the next album, sometimes I wish I had an engineer. In fact I often wish I had an engineer to help out! Recording and editing as we go along, I am trying to capture some of the magical music that is happening but alas, I fear that my skills as an engineer are whack.
It’s so inspiring to be here and Metso and I love this place. It is absolutely freeeezing though and for the first time in ages, it is actually snowing in L.A. Lucky we went to the vintage store when we first got into town and stocked up on jumpers and coats!
We head out of here and off to San Francisco in a week or so. I wish we had more time together.
