Leaving California

Leaving California is always a mixed blessing, I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone at home and hopefully moving forward with the songs I’ve written.
We’ll be sorry to say goodbye to our friends and the California sunshine as ever.
Time goes incredibly fast, having time to work on songs is a golden gift for which I’m so grateful.
I’m so glad that we left London. Traveling is much more freeing for us and each time we leave the U.K. some new kind of creative energy is reawakened. Not that I’m not inspired in England, it’s just different in California. We seem to have a lot more musical friends in California too.
Sometimes I feel kind of cut off when we’re back in England. Don’t know what to expect when we get back. I so need to focus on the next record. I have so many songs to finish.
It’s been three years since I made my own record. I feel the time rolling by and wonder when I will be ready to make another record.
Our plane is boarding, time to fly!
We’ll sure miss you California!
