Marc Pilley

Today, Marc Pilley came over to Max’s studio and we went through the songs together.
He has an old Yairi guitar ! It’s beautiful, it’s older than my Yairi guitar and sounds so clear and balanced.
Marc has his own band called Hobo Talk. He writes some really lovely songs and there is a tender sweetness to his guitar playing. Marc’s full of Edinburgh joviality.
It’s really cool because Marc also plays banjo which will sound great on some of these songs.He is a fine fine player, these songs will come alive with him playing the acoustic on them.
