A lovely guitar with a light sweet tone. I wrote the songs ‘One Day at a Time’ and ‘September Sky’ ‘Heaven’s Door’ and ‘The Kiss’ from my ‘Rocking Horse’ album on this guitar.

I bought this hand crafted K. Yairi steel string acoustic guitar brand new in 2006 from a Tokyo guitar centre whilst I was recording the album ‘Sweet Oblivion’ with Dropz.

Since then I have spent many days and nights writing with this guitar which has been my only acoustic guitar for the last few years and it has been an important part of my music making through the ‘Rocking Horse’ album period.

Changing my guitar every few years keeps things fresh, I am always moving around so I tend to just have one main guitar. As I am going to California this winter I intend to look for a new one but I have enjoyed this beautiful guitar immensely.
